As soon as I saw it I knew I just had to create a card using the Darkroom Door Montages.
I started with a black card base. On white card I created my own background using a stamp from Darkroom Door 'Hello Baby' Vol 1. It was inked in a pastel yellow ink from Paintbox by ColorBox. The 'hello baby' is from the same stamp set and inked in versafine black. The cute montages were distressed and edged in Dried Marigold distress ink.
The white doily is a small left over piece. The small yellow doily and the yellow spotted button is from Purple Pumpkin. The black and white polka dot ribbon completes the card.

I really enjoyed this sketch. Made me think outside the box.I will be using this sketch again...soon!

ReplyDeleteLove your gorgeous card Shirl... so pretty in yellows... back from Melbourne and just had to pop into Typo again... and of course pick up some more loveliness... how wonderful for your girls... I think they would both be fab places to work...
